pls. help. my 2000 s40 2.0l is shaking the whole vehicle at idle. it also has a vibration/drone while driving at any speed. all the engine mount rubbers & exhaust hangers has been ckecked. it seems like (i could be wrong) the vibe is coming out of the engine itself.

 

Check engine light on? Did you inspect the mounts?

 

I suggest you have the engine support checked. The problem might be coming from it.

How does it run, excluding the vibration? Does it crank and idle ok?
