2000 S40 160k. Everytime I come to a stop my car vibrates quite a bit. It is winter and I have not drove the car in the summer yet. When I place car back into N the car idles perfectly w/ no vibrations. Any suggestions? I am thinking motor mount or trans mount if it has one.

 

Does this only happen when you are braking? If so, I would take a look at the brake rotors. It sounds like one or more of them could be warped.
