Volvo S40 2011 petrol
Hi, I have struggling with the problem last year's. My car won't start in morning ( doesn' t matter summer or winter). It starts after 4 or 5 attempts. Can be intank pump? I have checked coils, sparks throttle and everything ok. This problem come and go , for a while I had no problems and last 3 months it appeared again. I have changed intake pump but I doubt that the service did not changed but just clean it or reapired.
Might be a fuel leak (most likely an injector). Try turning the ignition "on" without starting the car, leave it on for 3-4 seconds, then turn it back to "off". Repeat this 4-5 times and then try to start the engine again. If it does start right up, then you know that your residual fuel pressure (which should stay high overnight) has leaked off to somewhere (most likely through one of the injectors).
