Hi all. I need advise please.

We had done a major service and replaced the alternator with a new one. Everything else was working 100%. A day after we got the Volvo back, the engin light came on and we had no power. We took it back and now the Indicator Light R/R not working, Indicator Light
R/R not working with the housing and the rear right brake light not working. It was working perfectly. Also the now the Solenoid Valve needs to be replaced and a hose.

Can it be a coincidence that all of the above stopped working all of a sudden?

not sure about the hose for the solenoid valve but it sounds like something is amiss with the new alternator or its install - grounds, cabling etc, which could be open or shorted and in turn there may have been a voltage event that could have taken out a fuse or worse. Sorry to say there's going to be some additional work just to diagnose the root cause
