Volvo S40 standard ROD bearings ( big end bearings) questions/issues
For Volvo S40 2004 and earlier Volvo specifies 30731538 as correct bearing
For my 2009 S40 2.4i Volvo specifies 30777466 as correct bearing
When I try to buy 30777466 from ebay and other sellers they most indicate it is not compatible with 2009 S40 2.4i and most of them indicate 30731538 as right fit for 2009 S40, anyone knows why? why the sellers recommend different part number than what Volvo does?
Glyco brand bearings 30777466 and 30731538 are priced the same, set of 5 sells less than $50, anyone has experience with Glyco?
Last question, do I have to change all 5 or only the worn bearings?
