Just bought a 2005 S40...sweet. Bought used from a dealer with 15000 miles on it. I was wondering if I had to do anything else special than send in the warranty card in the back of the owners manual. I was also wondering if the service to 30K was included, can't find anything about transferring that. As well, the car was at a Caddy dealership, how do I find out if the 15K service was done on the car, does Volvo keep that record in some database? Thanks for you reply!!!

 

Alright, I'll reply to myself. Volvo DOES honor the service contract for used cars. Got my 15K oil change today for free.
