04 S40 Has water in rear passenger floor

 

Common problem is the front sunroof drain tubes clogging up and coming loose.
Very poor design. There is a clear rubber hose that is number one to short. Number 2 does not fit properly into the rubber elbow that goes out of the car. I clean the rubber elbows and then reinstall the hose and use a zip tie to hold the hose into the elbow. This way it will not come loose again.

 

New body style 04.5 or older mitsubishi???

04.5 up has more problems than this, could be a number of things because the water leaks in the front, but goes to the lower back end.

Sunroof drains deformed, body leaks under cowl, evaporator drain modification, pillar connector leaks, etc.

 

are there diagrams, or maybe descriptions of where all these drains can be found? I seem to be getting a fair amount of water in from somewhere.
