What kind of transsmision oil use a 2001 volvo s40

Hi! I'm trying to find out what kind of transmision oil i can use on my 2001 volvo s40. If someone knows please let me know, i need to fuel it cause a problem with the oil cooler of my car. Need an answer asap. Thanks

Is the dipstick for the trans. short, about 7 inches, or longer, over a 12???

Yours is a PH2 with the 5speed it takes different oil from the PH1 models with 4 speed.You should use this:

i have a 2002 s40 automatic. I think it is 5 speed. Can I use the Castrol Transmission for imports? I emailed Castrol and they said it is compatible.
