on the right side of the underside of the hood there is a tube. What is it. I've sesrched google, this forum and other forums and can't find an answer.. My guess is its to heat up the battery in the winter??
It's for cooling and ventilating the battery. Heat kills batteries, not cold. A battery doesn't have as many cold cranking amps as warm but the cold doesn't damage a battery. Heat does.
What is this vent thats attached to the hood?
