Where to get new keys?

So I have a 2004 S40, 1.9L Turbo engine, not the 2004.5 model. The problem is that there’s only 1 key for it. I know the key has a chip in it that you should only get from a dealership, etc. Is this still the case or is there an easier and cheaper way now?

dealer item as the key needs to be programmed to the car. You can save a few $$ buying the key from a dealer web site like Tascaparts.com, but its still a visit to the shop.
