Hello all,

What's the widest tire I can install on my 2007 S40i? I have the Caligo 16x6.5alloy wheels. It has the factory 205/55/16 tires. I always prefer to have a moreaggessive look on all my cars. Please advise.

You should be able to run a 225/50/16 and still keep the speedo pretty accurate. That would give youalmost another solid inch of width. Any wider/lower and you might get a harsher ride,less treadlife, limited choice, and higher price tag. But that's not to say you couldn't go wider.

 

16x6.5" and you want aggressive???

rock some 19x8.5" front and 19x10" and now were talking...

edit: ^ And then you also have the turning radius of a school bus. My comment above was assumingthe OP wantsto keep the stock wheels. In that case, You could probablysport the 18" Pegasus as well. IMO its a waste to buy larger wheels, but that's me.
