Default windshield washer tubing question

So today's job on my son's 2000 S40 was to figure out where the windshield washer fluid goes when pumping - when you actuate the washer nothing comes out at the jets and the fluid drips onto the driveway. I popped out the headlight to get a look at the pump motor and bottom of the reservoir - all was dry down there but about 3/4 of the way up is all wet (up near the ABS pump). I didn't have a good view to trace the hoses to the jets but my sense is something got knocked off when either the timing belt was done or when the ABS system had its fluid distributer replaced. Anybody ever poke around up there?

PS - here's a fast write up on removing the headlight bucket on the Gen 1 S40s
1) remove the turn signal lense (loosen screw on the side of the headlight assembly, slide out to the side.
2) remove the electrical connector in the back
3) remove two 10mm nuts on the inside of the front by the radiator
4) remove two 10mm nuts on the side of the assembly where the turn signal goes
5) slide to the center of the car slightly, press down on the bumper cover and put upward pressure on the assembly and wiggle... Done!

Every one I've read about and my 2001 was a broken plastic T fitting up near the firewall.

good call H! found the T connector over by the brake line distributor where one of the hoses had slipped off. Popped it back on and all it right.
