I recently purchased my first Volvo. A 2005 S50 T5 and so far have really enjoyed the car. The drivers windshiped wiper is not in the best of condition, and I have been searching the net for replacements. Much to my dismay I find that the replacements out there, even those listed OEM, are not identicl do what is on the car. I am wondering if I must go to the dealer and pay $67 for a set of wiper blades that traditionally cost $6 each. The blades on the car must be origional as they are a very thick rubber square tube with the blade attached and what feels to be some sort of sprung metal core. I want to preserve the look and performance if possible, but $67 for a set of blades is way past insane.

Any suggestions!??

that is the best i could do. might have to call them to find out.

 

welcome here you could also try ebay for that. wiper blades normally costs just between $6-8. If you have no choice but to buy the entire set, you can resell some of it.
