I'm really pleased with it! I notice it seams a little more responsive. But the thing I notice the most isexhaust notesounds a little deeper and I can now hear the turbo whistle a bit more. I ordered the Evolve down pipe the other day should have that in the next week or two. Can’t wait!!!

Thanks on the headlights.

Yes it is at its best in cold weather. Mine is a monster when it is cold. The front tires love to spin on my car when it is cold.

Yes you can hear the Bypass valve release alot louder as well and hear it wind up alot better as well.

I was very pleased with mine as well when I put it on!!!

Yes the Yellow is my daily driver. But since I am out of work I don't really get out all that much. Maybe a 5 mile drive tops and there is a bunch of red lights along the way LOL

This year has been the coolest in a while. Overnight it was 28 here and today is like high of low 40's.

But also at the moment the car doesn't have heat so if it is this cold I cannot really enjoy driving it to much as I am freezing while in the car. LOL

LOL I hear you. I would really like to drive it on a road track but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

Also if the tranny wasn't acting up it would go for a nice 1/4 mile run or 2.

I've never done that. Other than a couple laps at a vintage race in Watkins Glen. (my old man has a 1953 jag xk120.) I think it would be cool to take a few laps at speed in my car.
One of the guys here atmy office took one of those NASCAR driving course things about a year ago. He said that was cool.

Cold air intakes are super nice!

You are lucky you got a 2005 and there are actually parts out there for it. I got a 2000 and there are virtually no performance parts for it [:@]. I managed to find a EST intake kit with the heatshield for ~$220 shipped. Agreed the sound is quite addicting! Love that circular-saw like sound on full throttle and the pwsh of releasing air after you let off the gas! Killin' my gas mileage but I don't care! Just wish there was exhaust available for my car![sm=helpout.gif]

That stinks that there are no parts for the 2000!!! And yah I’m loving the intake it’s only been a few days but I defiantly can see me using some extra gas I always have my foot on the floor. Lol
Have you tried all those recourse links pined to the top of the S40 forum? I was amazed at the amount of stuff I found for these cars! That or just post a question on here seams like some of the guys on here really know there Stuff. (Take a shoe lace and a piece of bubble gum put it on your *?* and add 7hp) lol

Ya, most places have nothing. I'm a super member here and a nerfherder (?) on s40concepts.net. I've been looking all over. One place has exhaust but it is exorbitantly expensive.

Ah, I guess that's the price I pay for being 17 with a job that pays $7.50 and hour. Such is life![sm=boosign.gif]
