Hi There,

I have been the proud recipient of a cracked rim due to a nice pot hole which I now need to replace. Unfortunately, IPD no longer stocks this rim so I need to desperately find a replacement.

I am hoping someone out there can help me find someone/someplace other that the UK(where Ronal relocated) where I can purchase this rim. Here's what I need:

Good luck with that. The reason I say this is because IPD had the last of them. Anyone that owns them likely only has a set of four. I see a lot of people selling sets because a MFG stopped making the style and they can't find a replacement. You can keep searching, but if you really need it maybe you should find a quality wheel-repairer. You can play the waiting game if you have time hoping that someone else is parting out the same set or you can get it repaired. Repairs can usually be done in a day. I would start calling around while you're waiting for replies. That way you at least have some options.

 

Actually yes, I was multitasking at the same time and I did find a local repair shop and apparently these guys can repair anything! Drawback is that it will take 2 weeks but what's 2 weeks when you've purchased and after market part that no longer exists?

3 nice rims and a doughnut currently doesn't look very attractive ;-)
