~Volvo's one year Check~
To all Volvo owners
How is your Volvo? Volvo has been outdoing
all its rivals in safty.
Now I tell you unbelievable story. After one year
check, I found so many scratches and dents in the cabin. And nasty blast from airconditioner.
Amazing ! Some researchers said it was contam-
inated by ''butric acid''. Our engineer Mr.T put nasty acid in the evapolator intentionally. He did not answer.
Osaka Nishi Police Station accepted this case formally. I reported this fact to Swedish Volvo
three times, but no answer. I'm sure something will have to be done about it.Don't you think so ?

I know Butyric acid well because various Xcelite hand tools (like nut drivers) used a very colorful plastic that smells like vomit. The plastic outgasses Butyric acid, the same as found in fermenting milk and butter.
For your nasty blast, I have three thoughts. Try changing your cabin filter, check your ac condensate path (not sure where it sits in the Volvo) for mold, or even dead animals.
On a non-Volvo, I had bad luck with all except one product for the ac air path. I don't recall the name but in the US, Advance Auto sells it. You spray into the air intake, into the vents etc. and run the system on high. In a problematic Jeep GC, it kept the odor away for a summer season.
