Does anyone know what may cause my car to slip in and out of gear while waiting at a redlight? It just started doing this not too long ago. Any ideas?

 

There was a software update for the transmissions. Check with the dealer and see if it has been updated.

Our 04 S60 shifts hard and takes a second or two to shift into drive when the car is hot. Only when it is hot. We just had all systems' programs updated (was cheaper than just updating the transmission). The software upgrade didn't fix the problem. Let me know if you find out what does fix yours.
