I recently picked up an 02 S60, and it's been having some problems. When I go to start it, it wants to stall out immediately so I have to give it gas for about 1-2 minutes, and then let it idle for a few more to make sure that it won't stall out while driving.

It seems to be fine at speed, and I don't have any power issues, except for one time where I was driving for about a minute, and I got on it a little bit and it hesitated. Every other time I accelerated while driving it was fine.

Also, the display that gives warnings is malfunctioning, so I'm not sure if this could be contributing to the issue.

I would check intake connections. I had disconnected all my intake hoses and mine would stall like that. I checked my intake lines and sure enough I failed to tighten a clamp.
