hi guys!

'02 s60 with 97k, after driving fine on ice and in snow for past few days, it started acting up this morning. It's clearly in limp mode, cel is on and trans. service message on the display. I had this car for 15 months, didnt do trans. upgrade that i read about on this forum. Where do i start now? Internal problem or..?

car was towed to local mechanic, he didnt do anything except reset all the codes. My wife picked up the car and it drives fine now. Se said that he told her it was some kind of speed sensor, it will cost about $400 to replace it if it starts acting up again. Didnt charge her anything so obvisously it was easy plug in-reset thing. He is not answering the phone, I guess he is busy and I am really curious what was the problem. Anyone ever had this kind of experience?
