Default S60 shuts off

I just bought a 2004 S60 AWD and the car just shuts off, sitting or driving. It may start up again, but in most cases it doesn't until you let it sit, then it willif you keep trying.Sometimes it takes a good 20 plus tries before it will start up again.I have it at the Volvo dealer now, going on2 weeks and nothing, except now it will not start at all. Any ideas?

Are they keeping you up to date on what they are doing?
Does it have spark?
Does it have fuel?
Does it have injector pulse?

Default RE: S60 shuts off

At first they thought it was the throttle box, but it wasn't. I just found out earlier today it was some tachometer sensor that had to be replaced. The sensor that detects the key was also replaced originally when it first started. I will post the correct technical term of the part that was replaced this time so you know. My wife was worried because I do a lot of highway driving and if it should do it while on the highway doing 65 I may be in trouble depending how traffic is, but I am sure it is fixed now that it shut down on the dealer and they had a code. Hopefully.
