02 Tethys Refinish?
What do you think of refinishing a set of Tethys with no outward evidence of bends/problems, is it worth it versus trying to find a new set? Anyone ever used Hot Wheels here in Tampa? Thanks, Ralph
I think you would be hard pressed to find a new set anywhere. Refurbished ones go for about $200 each on eBay and those can be hard to find. I think your best bet would be to have them resprayed or powder-coated.
thanks ikey. I found a guy in tampa that is highly reccomended and I visited his shop today. 130 per wheel and they will look brand new, all gouges repaired and the finish completely removed to bare alloy. I just bought this very well maintained 02 S60 and plan on doing a nice list of things to position it well to be a very reliable and good looking ride...! Ralph
