Default Bumper Paint Refinish - Anyone heard of Showroom New

Hey so I was doing some surfing and came around this on someones profile on car domain.

he used a product called showroom new to refinish the grey part on the bumper. Since mine is pealing pretty badly I was wondering if anyone on here has had the same problem. And could offer some advice on how they dealt with the issue etc. What they used.

here's the link to the page http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3208399/2

"Yesterday my buddy and I used grey Showroom New exterior dye on the bumpers, door handles and rub strip. It is fairly thick which helps in application. The most time consuming part of the job was the taping. The dye dries without streaking and it brought the pieces back to the original colour. It looks great and I'm looking forward to seeing how it wears."

pics of the product applied after

I did mine 8 months ago with the same stuff and still looks new! I also buy a plastic dressing with a UVA/UVB inhibitor so it lasts longer.....

Sorry mod for duplicating a thread, I searched up painting bumper but nothing came up, I probably searched it wrong. You can delete this thread, keep the other one going since it has more in depth description and photographs.

Thanks!

I think this is some kind of a scam and not Volvo related at all. Notice the "member of this useful community" and "This" community. NO mention of anything car or Volvo related. Just nonsense and exams links. Maybe thats it, the exam links. I think hes fishing for something.
