Don't get me wrong I love my S60 but sometimes I am ready to chuck it and get a different car. This is one of those times. I tend to drive my car a tiny bit enthusiastically and I think through that I did some major damage to either the clutch or transmission itself. The wonderful issue now is that when I shift into 1st (at least I think it is 1st), it sure takes a ton of gas to get it moving and it does not seem to stay in 1st or 2nd or 3rd either. I can have the car parked and off, shift to 1st, let out the clutch completely, and still move the shifter to the right to 3rd. I take it this is not a good thing.

With much hesitation, I drove it home from work about 5 miles and that was a challenge. Called the local Dealer and they said bring it in on Monday. What is the main problem so I have some idea of what to expect when I get the call from them Monday at work and should I chance driving it to the dealer or just call Volvo assistance and have them tow it? The sad thing is that it just went in on Monday April 30th for is 22.5k service.
