I bought a forward facing camera for my S60 and for some reason the 12v plug between the front seats won't power it up. I tried the camera, using the same power cord, in a friend's car (not Volvo) and it worked perfectly.

Has anyone heard of any issues associated with accessory plugs such as this not working properly in S60's?

Replace the fuse. Its blown.

 

There is a fuse for the center plug

 

Not sure why that didn't seem obvious to me, but that was indeed the problem. Finding the fuse box was another story, but I did eventually get it fixed.
