Default 180,000 miles on 2005 S60

Hello there I'm considering buying a this car (link below) and wanted to get some input.
the oil cap has black deposits under is and the baffle does as well.
the oil was low and very dark when I went to look at the car as well as very dirty under the hood.
there is an oil leak from what I could tell coming from the front crank seal.
it was a rainy day so I wasn't able to be as thorough as I would have liked.
the car drove well and was very smooth.
Can anybody give me advice as to what to do/look for on my second inspection?
I read about the pcv glove test but I want to check the turbo as well, just don't want to end up with a $2500 time bomb!!
Thanks in advance!!

Insist on seeing a maintenance history. Cars that are NOT loved throughout their lives will rarely go much past 180K.
Find out when the timing belt was last serviced. If it's still original, that car was owned by a moron... run away! Low and dirty oil is another sign of an owner who is not paying close enough attention.
Do a PCV "glove test." If it fails, that's what blew out your crank seal, and it will cost a lot to fix.

On the other hand, even if you have to invest $2K into the car in order to bring it back to good working order, you still have a sweet S60 for less than $5K!
And 5K doesn't buy much of a used car these days. Certainly not a sweet Volvo.

For $2,995 you are probably not going to find a better car. I laugh at people who insist on a complete maintenance history and autopsy on an inexpensive car. The seller probably has dozens of calls so you either want it or you don't.
