My 2001 S60 2.4T has about 93,000 miles. And until recently has been a pleasure to drive. It started acting up with misfires, so naturally I changed the spark plugs and then ignition coils. That helped a tiny bit. So I did some reading online and it seems that a lot of people then suggested to clean the ETM. So I took off the throttle, and cleaned it really well with throttle cleaner and a tooth brush. But it still is idling rough and misfiring through 1st gear, but then will settle down in higher gears. Does any one have some suggestions of what else to try other than letting volvo have my car for a few days to figure it out?
