ok, my 2001 s60, everytime I push the break peddel down I get a "Check break Light" message on my dash. The right side break lights (both of them) do indeed NOT work. The bulbs look good so I tried swaping them with the working lights on the left side. Sure enough the right side still doesnt work! So its not the bulbs

I check for bad fuses on a 3 pannels (Trunk, dash, and hood) I could no find any bad fuses.



WTF?


Also, the right side front postion light is out as well, with a perminate postion light message. Its the same light as the blinker bulb. And the smae goes for that light, swap hte bulb and it works on the other side, but not the right. (the blinker works fine)

 

Maybe try swapping the entire bulb housing and see if it works then. Or check the relays in the trunk.

 

im not an expert on s60 but a lot ofcars have light modules for every corner of the carmy jaguar had the same problem i changed the box and all was good!

 

Got it fixed with the RM15 relay replacement!

Turn out the lights were not comming on at all! when i jamed the break down I saw only the left side comming on because I was looking at the postion lights! I though they were brakes,

So now I have another light problem, the entire right side postion lights are out.. I have another open thread about it.
