I bought this 2001 Volvo S60 from an old guy who never drove the car. It just sat out in the horrible oklahoma weather and faded the balck trim. I have tried painting it but it came off, and i have tried mother bac kto black wax, but it doesnt help that much. If any as any good suggestions then let me know.

 

There is a product called Forever Black that is a permanent dye. It costs a bit more than other products that DONT work.

 

I used KIWI shoe dye on my S60 and my sons 850. Have had it on since last August and it still looks good. Plus, it only cost $2.49 and is easy to apply.

 

kiwi shoe dye??? wow, good tip, mine looks good overall, but on the rear bumper it looks bad, it has ripples all over it. will buy tomorrow, and try it.
