Default 2002 s60 rear bumper

how do i take it off? it's mostly busted off already because some @$$hole hit my parked car, but the large black plasitc mounting [under the foam] is still attached. I see what appears to be the heads of 4 bolts holding it on, but haven't been able to locate the nuts on the other side... please help!

You will have to remove the flooring and battery from the inside of the trunk first. There is soundproofing covering the 4 holes. The nuts should be 13mm. There are 2 rivets on the bottom of the bumper, one at each side that need drilling out. Then there is a long screw in either wheel well - you need to back the screws out then press the screws in, bottoming them out, to release the clips behind the bumper. Pull the bumper back while pulling the sides outward.

Default Only the bumper cover is off

On mine, only the rear bumper cover has become detached by a light accident. All of the clips on the bumper itself look to be intact but the ones on the bumper cover are broken. Can i simply get a new cover and snap it on or do i have to remove the bumper, attach the cover, and reattach? The more specific you can be the better.

thanks in advance
