2003 S60 Steering Problem - Advice Please
Hi All,
I have a 2003 S60 with 238,000. Bought the car new - maintained well mechanically.
In the last few months I've had some repairs done (all by the dealer), including a new cv boot and recently, a ball joint. After I had the ball joint done I noticed the steering got tighter, but in a good way. Soon after however it started to feel like the car was resisting me and it felt funny (and continues to feel funny) going into turns. The steering will tighten intermittently and it feels like I'm losing the power-assist. It seems like when the RPM's drop the problem gets worse.
I don't see a leak anywhere. When I did the cv joint they said the inner cv joint was fine. The dealer hasn't mentioned anything to me about the steering, even though they've been under the car multiple times
Does this sound like the rack? The pump? Again, I don't see a leak. There is the tiniest bit of moisture around the reservoir but it's by no means a significant leak-
Any thoughts greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I am the person who originally posted - wasn't able to reset my pw so had to start a new account.
I also meant to thank you sooner. You were spot on. Took it in and they greased the u-joint and said to see how it goes for a bit before they replace it. The steering is strikingly better.
Thank you again!!
