Hi, I just purchased a 2015 S60 and paired my iPhone 6 Plus without issue's. The problem is that when I play a song from my list, turn the car off and on again, it'll play the first song on the list.

How do I stop it from playing the same song every time I start the car and get it to continue from the last song played?

It sounds more like an iPhone 6 issue than one with the car. We have a V60 and an iPhone 6 and it always picks up where it left off. If the music app somehow being turned off when the car is turned off?

 

When I turn the car off, the music still plays via the cars speakers, but when I open the door, the music stops all together. So I assume the music on the iPhone stops playing as well. This didn't occur with the C30. It would pick up where it left off. Not so with the S60.

I don't know what to do to fix that problem.

I tested ours today and the music does stop as soon as Bluetooth shuts down(when you open the door, ignition power goes off). Pull up the song that's playing and you'll see a progress bar showing that it's playing. It will stop as soon as Bluetooth shuts down.
I have IOS 8.4 but there is no difference in how music plays between that and previous versions.

 

The problem isn't whether the music stops when the ignition is off. It does that well. I can't get it to play from the last song forward. Every time I start the car, it starts from the top again. I don't know how to stop it from doing that.

 

Under My Car/Favorites/Bluetooth, there are some options. Maybe try playing with those to see if something changes.

 

I tried that, but nothing fixes it. Thanks anyway.
