Unhappy 2003 Volvo s60 - No brake lights working and no error message on dash

On my 2003 Volvo s60 I noticed my brake lights (high and low) are not working. There also is no error message appearing on my dash. I changed the bulbs and the fuses are not blown. I also tested the relay's and shunt's and when I swap the one for the brake light with the fog lights the fog lights still work so they are good. Does anyone know what else could be the problem?

did you test the switch at the pedal? Not sure about the '03 S60 but the power may go through a relay in the CEM so if your not seeing voltage at the switch and the fuses are good, its either the CEM or a connector. You may want to look at the fuse/wiring diagram to see if there are other lamps sharing that circuit/feed. (for example, on my S40, the OBD2 connector shares the brake light circuit).

Yes, was it. The wire harness clip to the brake pedal was off. Thank you.
