I know the manual recommends 5w-30 , but I was cleaning out the garage and I have about 15 gallons worth of 10w-30 I have no other use for and can't return anywhere.

I'm in Central Ohio, where we might have a few days below zero in January, but overall, it stays above zero, especially during the day.

I think it'll be okay to use the 10w-30 oil in the Volvo. What do you all think?

 

Use your 10w-30 in the summer if you want to use it up, Id stick with the recommended 5w-30 in the winter though.
