2004 S60 Drive Axle
Hi again, I was having a slight vibration when I pressed on the accelerator...morenoticeable up to 2000 rpms. I thought it might be an engine mount. Dealer says I may have a bad front driver side drive axle....appears to be vibrating. They are going to check it out further.
Would that cause the vibration? What other symptoms would I have? Is this a relatively common problem? Even though the car is under warranty, just curious if this is an expensivereplace and fix?
Thanks.

Inner cv joint on the drivers side axle is worn. Axle is $125.00 at FCP or $400.00+ at dealer.
The FCP one is a new unit made by DSS (Chinese scourced). I installed one in my car a few weeks ago and it works fine.
