I went to start my car this morning and the key wouldn't turn past the first position. I had it towed to the dealership and the tow truck operator said that broken/jammed ignition systems are one of the most common problems they tow Volvos for.

Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know of any recalls for this?

 

did you jiggle the steering whell while trying to turn the key.. sometimes if you stop a car with the wheels cut it will lock and not allow you to turn the key untill you move the steering whell from lock to lock a few times... i know of a lot of problems with volvos but i have never heard of them having bad ignition modules.. prolly just a foreign car haiter...
