2004 S60 stereo issue

the only way to take it out is to take it apart. That or you can keep trying but i havent heard of them automatically working by themselves. But I think there is a core when replacing the cd player or Intergraded Audio Module as it is really called by volvo. When the dealer replaces the cd player they fill out a sheet with either your address or the dealerships so when Volvo takes it apart they send back the CDs.

CD eject problem
Hi all, my first post on the Volvo forum. I have a similar problem with our 2003 S60. After operating smoothly for many years it has developed a problem in that the CD player will not eject a disc that has been playing.
With any luck a small portion of the disc will come through the slot opening and with a pair of tweezers and if you are quick enough you can grab the disc and pull it out. Most of the time the CD player just grinds away and does not eject the disc. In 1 of 50 trys it will eject the disc per normal.
As this is a probem others have had is there is fix? The local European Car Repair shop and an affiliated Stereo Shop want no part of working on the issue. The local Volvo dealer is quite a distance away. Any suggestions?
Any recommentdation for a an aftermarker replacement unit? Thanks for listening. Bob Howse
