2004 vOLVO S60 HEADLIGHT PROBLEMS
I just purchased a 2004 volvo s60. The passanger headlight was out and when I went to replace it there was no bulb in it (It is the HID lights). I installed a $100 light bulb and still nothing, I checked the fuses and they are fine, (I even switched the driver and passanger fuses to make sure) I do not know much about these HID systems, but is there a way to test this. I guess there is a ballast in the panel behind the passanger light, can these be switched fronm the drivers to the passangers to see if that is bad, also is the plug socket itself some type of ballast and do they also go bad?I would appreciate any ideas to help troubleshoot this. I had to just startreplacing expensive parts. APPRECIATE ANY HELP ANYONE CAN GIVE ME
Sorry. I forgot to mention that the 2 clips that holds the bulb in are missing. Is there a chance that this somehow grounds the light and thatit will not work without them. I would doubt it, but just thought I would mention it
