I drove my car for around half an hour stopped at the shops after returning from the shops the car now only cranks and doesn’t start up no codes and no eml after around 20 mins checking sensors and boost pipes it then decided to start up but has now come across the same issue of cranking but not starting
any ideas on what the cause could be thanks

also car ran and drove perfect when it did start

 

Sounds like a heat soak problem taking out a sensor until it cools down.

Biggest suspect for me would be the crank position sensor. Being a 2005 and not having done any research to find out for sure you likely/should have electronic injectors which need the crank sensor signal to fire.
