2005 S60 2.5t breather box

Does anyone know if the breather box (pcv box) is covered by a 10 year warranty by Volvo?

I think so. I have a 2006 v50 and just started having whirring noise at low engine speeds. I am told the repair of the crank breather box is defective in my model and covered by the 10 year extended warranty.
