Hey guys, I am new to this forum, actually new to Volvo, but bought a 2005 S60 a few weeks back and have been fixing it up. Ended up putting in a Kenwood apple CarPlay stereo, which works fine however the screen never dims at night. I know its connected to the headlights, or supposed to be but the stereo that Volvo had stock I guess didn't have a wire for the dimmer. I notice when I turn the tach panel brightness down near the headlight toggle it turns the A/C controls down too. If I tapped into that wire do you think that would fix my problem? I am not sure what wire is the correct one.
