2006 S60 aux input?
Hey,
I've been googling today about how to get an aux input into my 2006 s60. I haven't found any exact answers. I'm wondering if anyone has had any success in either replacing the stereo, due to the size this seems quite awkward, or if anyone has installed these kits I found on
If anyone has any tips I would really appreciate it!

Hey, I personally went with a wired FM transmitter I bought on eBay, they're easy to find and most are built by the same company, there is little difference, just a different name painted on the case. Then I bought radio antenna adapters from Crutchfield because Volvo uses brand specific connectors so that the generic BNC transmitter could be put in line between the antenna and the radio. The transmitter has RCA inputs which I simply used an 3.5mm male to male RCA to then hook my phone up to. I eventually also purchased an amp and subwoofer to put in the trunk, all I had to do was get a piggy back RCA/3.5mm cable and got independent bass and high end control. The transmitter works by taking the input signal and making it appear like a radio station but instead of any broadcasting which can have a weak signal it's hardwired in, so essentially no audio quality loss.
