2006 S60 Timing belt replacement questions
Hi, just have a couple questions regarding replacement of timing belt on a 2006 S60 AWD Turbo.
I watched a couple videos on the procedure and they remove the crankshaft pulley which consists of 4 bolts and a big center nut.
I'm wondering why this is necessary for this procedure?
If it is necessary to remove that pulley, how do you hold the crankshaft when torquing that nut? I forget the torque spec on it too.
Thanks!

Thanks for all of the help! Got it figured out. If you remove the plastic cover at the bottom under the crank, you can just squeeze the belt in there between engine castings. careful not to punch or damage your belt in doing so.
