Hello ,tommorow I am going to look at a 2006 volvo SE, I have never owned a volvo before. I have done some research on them but still unsure if they are a desent buy , the ad ticks quite a few boxes for me.

I am just a bit worried about the timing belt on this one since the ad does not say if it has been replaced or not. The car is selling for 1400 pounds, just wondering if this is a good buy?

You are at or near the timing belt change. By now, it is overdue for change anyway. If you buy it, have that done immediately.

 

Hello and thank you for your reply. What would one expect to pay for the timing belt to be replaced either by the volvo dealer or a private mechanic. Thanks in advance
