2008 s60 tire pressure monitoring system
My tire pressure monitoring system light has been going on/off. Took into dealership - paid $700 for new tire sensors in each tire plus software upgrade. Light came on about 30 minutes away from dealership. So they then replaced my rearview mirror which has the board I believe for the system - another $700. Light came on again. Dealership is stumped and quite frankly I'm annoyed that I've spent $1400 and the problem still isn't fixed. Was a real nice touch when they gave the old rearview mirror back to me....
Advice needed.....is there something in the electrical wiring system? What else is being missed.
I also have new tires - so there shouldn't be a problem there.

Wow! I have been ignoring the TPMS light on the wife's car for several years now because of the cost to replace the wheel sensors. Will probably replace them the next time tires are due, but in the meantime I just check them regularly with a gauge just like I did before these systems existed.
