Hello,

New to the forum, I just bought my first Volvo S80 R Design 2012.

My question is actually on my wife's Volvo S60 2011. Before anyone flames me. I have searched the forums and was not able to find an answer. I found bits and pieces, but no real answers.

I'd be interested in installing an extra wireless camera I have. It has IR night vision and was hoping someone can tell me how the camera system works on the 2011 model. There seems to be so many version of these models, I'm not sure what info will help. The car does have Navigation and the City Safety system.

1. Do I really need to get the $400 controller I found in the forums? What does it exactly do? from what I have read it interfaces with some system. I don't care if it shows lines, kicks on when she goes in reverse, etc. I'd like her to be able to hit the button and it displays on the screen.

2. Is there a RCA connection on the back of the head unit? I have not been able to find much detail on the head units input/outputs. Anything I've found is for older models.
