2011 S60 T6 - 17" or 18" wheels?
Looking to get my first Volvo and really like the new S60. Have a choice between the two size wheels and was looking for any opinions on the differences between. Specifically, how much does it impact comfort? performance? aesthetics? Are they both the same quality? Are there issues with the run-flat tires?
Appreciate your feedback. Thanks so much.

Just ordered a new 2012 S 60 for delivery in June. I talked with my long time tire dealer about the choice of wheels and tires since there is a standard 18 inch and a no cost 17 inch without the run flat tires. My dealer advised that the 18 inch is a high performance tire with a 25-30,000 mile tire. The 17 inch (which also looks very good) is a 45,000 mile tire. All are expensive. He also cautioned that the 18 inch might be prone to bending the wheel on the awful Michigan highways and roads. I decided to give up a little performance on the tires for a little softer ride and better tire life.
I have 17's on my yellow car and had 17's on the white car. My wife hated driving it with 17's so I put 15's on it and it rides much better with 15's. The ride must be really harsh with 18's.
