Anyone?... i can't seem to find any info on technical data , wiring, amps and connecting capabilities on my 2012 new S60 with the base sound system. it plays actually pretty crappy out of the box,that is at flat setting, with extreme makeover on two levels of 5 band EQ plus BASS settings, it gets just acceptable... i will definetly have to upgrade: sub with amp, and probably front speakers and amp... but i am wooried all controls will be screwed up in the module that controles everything on the screen. Anyone have info and specs on that system-head unit???

man anything with nav. its normally best to get factory premium sound
i did a complete system on my 2004 and that was a bit of a pain! if you must upgrade go to the pros, trust me. at least that way if anything breaks which most likely will, it'll be on them. normally what goes is an airbag or the control module so not a "cheap" fix

 

Well, now i know there is an amp in the front connected to the main unit via optic fibre.. so next week we're taking it apart to see where to connect another amp and sub.. maybe i can use the original amp only in the front and get a pre amp going to the sub..
