I can lock the car with the fob, switch on the door and switch on the trunk lid. All the doors will lock. The trunk will lock. I can unlock the car doors with two taps on the fob. I can unlock the trunk using the fob. If I use the unlock switch above the license plate it unlocks the trunk and also unlocks the doors. So no matter how I lock the car up, everything opens by a press on the switch above the license plate. Any suggestions?

 

I use to use this method all the time. I think because I had the valet lock on. Then someone showed me there is a soft button under that same area. If your car is unlocked, you can fidn the soft rubber with your fingers and there is a button that you push upwards.
