Hi, I've been hearing a noise that sounds like rain hitting the windshield.... or it could be described as a crackling noise. This happens at higher speeds. It was suggested to me that it could be related to a poorly done windshield replacement. If it was replaced, it would've been before I owned the car so I would have no recourse. I recently had the opportunity to speak with someone who replaces windshields, who said this is common in Volvos and that he's surprised Volvo hasn't issued a recall but I wasn't able to find much online about it or on this forum.

Wondering if anyone reading this has experienced the same and what the outcome was.
