2013 T5 S60 No Crank No Start

Hi guys,
So I clipped a curb the other day and my Volvo stalled, apparently due to t he force of the impact, and I got no response when I tried to start it up again. I thought I knocked some wiring loose. I'm not a car guy, but my uncle is and we've been working on this thing for over a week now with no luck trying to diagnose the problem. We pulled the wiring diagram for the starting system and have followed every avenue we could through the logic, testing the relays, making sure current was flowing to the starter. The starter relay (R7) is getting power and closing, but for some reason we're still not getting power to the wire that goes to the starter solenoid.
We ghetto rigged a wire to that same point on the solenoid and touched it to the negative end of the battery, giving it 12 volts, bypassing the relay and it DOES crank. So we tried to get it to start by pressing the start button (Ignition switch?) and touching the wire to the battery at the same time to see if we could get it to turn over, but no luck with that either. Not sure why we're not getting voltage to that starter wire, or why even when we rig a wire to bypass it and give it power it doesn't turn over.
Any ideas on where to go next?
I've poked around on the forums, manuals and even got VIDA just without DICE. Would DICE be worth the investment? I saw some people thinking it could be something called the start control module which is apparently installed just under the ignition switch, but to me it just looked like a module for the key fob / immobilizer. Not sure how that could have stalled the car if it is impact related.
Wish I knew more car vernacular so I could be more clear, but if things rings a bell for anyone I'd love to hear your thoughts.
Thanks in advance

Your first step would be to scan the car with a compatible scan tool or VIDA using DICE. With that info VIDA will have all the info you need to fix your car. (once you have a DICE unit)

I agree the first step would be to scan the car - even with just a generic scanner - to see what fault codes are there. You said the starter relay is energized when you hit the start button, but no power to the starter. Are you sure it was the starter relay rather than the ignition relay?
